08.:11.:01 Trash Talking' Updated!

Simply no updates have been made to the site, due to fact nothing has concurred in the front office, and instead of examining trades that will not happen and speculation I have decided not to, "throw a bone" just to get readers.

Many sites such as MI Live has speculated that trades will be made which are simply outlandish and jokish in nature.
One such posted is Jonathan Bender and Travis Best for Mikki Moore and Chucky Atkins......pure trash.

The state of the Pistons will rest on Joe Dumars and his patience, he is in no hurry to sign a overvalued player and be stuck with a contract for the next 3-4 years which would significantly slow down the rebuilding process. Joe is content on waiting for the beginning of the season as he has already solidified the front court. The issue of finding a backup for J. Stack is a game of patience Joe is looking for a cheap backup with experience that will be willing to take the exception and play for a long term contract ( possibly Jim Jackson) if not he still has the option of signing FA Dana Barros.

Please keep the site Alive! There are NO and will there ever be unneccessary ADVERTISEMENTS all we need is the clicks, so when you don't see any updates for awhile please check back because if there are any vital rumours with some legitmacty I will break it.....

08.:02.:01 Mase part II

The coy of the Detroit management has always been to deny rumors and disguise their actions of future moves that are currently in progress. More often than not, just like a stockbroker on Wall Street what they say is not what they really mean.

Heres the current situation free agent Anthony Mason a talented yet habitual black eye for teams that he has played for is a player in desperate need of a team. Mase is a player which comes with a lot of extra baggage. Because of this fact many players whom are less talented are given more consideration by teams who are weak in the frontcourt and need help. Already Hakeem Olajuwon, a player on the downside of his career has picked up with Toronto, now a legitimate finals contender with addition of the dream in the east. Marc Jackson whom many consider a possible flash in the pan and a one year wonder is getting more looks from not only Detroit but also Seattle and now Houston.

Mases game and muscle which led him to his first all-star appeareance last year may be enough to overshadow his checkered past in Joe Dumars eyes. The president of basketball operations is linked in current trade talks that might bring the bad boy to a city that loves Bad Boys and the tough and hardworking persona it comes with.

Sources said yesterday that Milwaukee forward Scott Williams, who played for Cavaliers coach John Lucas in Philadelphia from 1994-96, is a possibility to be dealt to the Cavs in a three-team deal. Forward Chris Gatling would go to Miami in a sign-and-trade, and forward Anthony Mason would go from the Heat in a sign-and-trade to a team neither would name. Paxson and Lucas each had no comment yesterday when asked if whom the third team is.

Is this the big time player Joe Dumars promised everyone at the start of the summer, because many refuse to believe Cliff Robinson although a good player is not the prototypical superstar many have envisioned after Dumars comments. Many questions are still left unanswered what does Detroit have to ante up to join into this 3-way game? All indications point to Cliff Robinson whom would come into work a disgruntled worker after Dumars refused a contract extension which Robinson has demanded. But does this trade answer any of the glaring problems now faced in the backcourt? Detroit will go into the season with 3 guards under 62 in a game that has progressed and has evolved where the most dominated teams have at least one talented guard whom is at least 6-5.

07.:28.01 Howard Eisley talks continue and Anthony Mason

The lasted trade talks have Detroit now including Miami in a possible 3 way trade that would bring both Anthony Mason and Howard Eisley to the Pistons in exchange for Chucky Atkins. Reported by bskball.com heres how the trade would break down:

Mavs: would get Tim Hardaway
Pistons: would get Anthony Mason and Howard Eisley
Heat: would get Greg Buckner and Gary Trent

Piston representatives have denied trades, but they have denied plenty of talks in the past that have gone through. Remember this is the same front office that stated Brendan Haywood (who will start the season on the IR) was a gurantee pick for them at number 9. More news as the trade develops.

New Eastern Conference Lineups for each team has been updated, and guest columnist JD expresses his view on where the Pistons will stack up in the east. Check it out in our East section.
